Charles Akins High School is a new facility for the Austin Independent School District.  It includes a 12,000 square foot library, gymnasiums, cafeteria, classrooms, labs, offices and a theater.  P+AA was involved in a joint venture with Pfluger & Associates and STG Architects in the design of a new 300,000 SF high school for Austin, TX. P+AA participated in a preliminary design charette for the school, and was actively involved in schematic design, design development, and construction documents services provided to AISD.
